The London Photo Walk

According to Google, Sunset is at 17:43. I would suggest a meetup at 4:30pm.

MEETING POINT: Tower Hill station
(as with the previous meetup the group did last year), so you can get some sunset shots with Tower Bridge in the shot.

From Tower Bridge a suggested route would be to go to St Pauls and walk over Millennium bridge that would take you to the Southbank.

From the Southbank go towards the London Eye. Once you get to Westminster Bridge, you should be able to do some light trails on the main road with House of Westminister in the background. I would head to the other side of the London Eye to take some slow Shutter Speed shots of the London Eye.

FINISH POINT:  walk along the Victoria Embankment towards Embankment to reach The Tattershall Castle (http://www.thetattershallcastle.co.uk/). The entrance to the pub is where the buses and coaches park on the road. You cant miss that floating boat.

So we have finally decided where to take you guys and seeing that there will be snow everywhere, we think Forest Hill will be beautiful. This month we have decided to introduce a theme. You don’t have to incorporate the theme into your pictures on the subject of your shots but we though it would be fun to see how everyone interprets it.

The closest station is Forest Hill on the Overground Line. Trains from London Bridge.

We’re really excited about this next walk – we’re going to take in ‘the City’ with some of the stunning buildings like the Gherkin, the Lloyds Building (pictured below) and more.

The London Photo Walk is delighted to announce that it will be exhibiting at the Modern Pantry in Clerkenwell from the 12th March until the 9th June.

A selection of photos from the walks will be shown in the Dining Rooms. Photos will be for sale as framed prints or just prints to order. Proceeds to be split between the London Photo Walk and the photographers

It was a beautiful day for our Battersea walk, weather changing from sunny to windy and cold and back but leaving us just the right amount of cloud cover for some drama over the power station.
